The national gatherings of Directors of Clergy Life and Ministry is facilitated by
Australian Catholic Bishops Conference (ACBC).
Directors of Clergy Life and Ministry are entrusted with implementing the Bishop’s vision
for personal and pastoral development of clergy. Their role include coordinating ongoing formation through retreats, programs, and conferences, as well as overseeing processes
for ministry appraisal. Central to the role is also the provision of support in key areas such as health and wellbeing, mentoring, and professional supervision, ensuring that clergy are
sustained and equipped for their ministry.
The 2026 gathering of the national directors will be held from 15-19 June at
Mary McKillop Place in North Sydney, New South Wales.
