The first phase of this journey corresponds to the years immediately after priestly ordination. In this period, the priest acquires, thorough the exercise of the ministry, fidelity to the personal encounter with the Lord and to his own spiritual accompaniment, along with the openness to asking advice of priests with more experience.

83 The Gift of Priestly Vocation

These twice yearly gatherings of those ordained under 10 years, are called together by the personal invitation of the Archbishop and are considered mandatory with your good and justified reasons.

The themes of the gatherings are focussed on the four dimensions of priestly formation – spiritual, intellectual, pastoral and human.
